Job Title: Skilled General Laborer / Crew Cab Driver (Class B Preferred)

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled General Laborer who is also capable of driving a Crew Cab with trailer, with a preference for those holding a Class B license.

Job Summary:

The Skilled General Laborer / Crew Cab Driver will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to asphalt paving and concrete construction. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, particularly in asphalt and concrete, and will be able to drive a Crew Cab vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and completion of asphalt paving and concrete construction projects.
• Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools.
• Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks.
• Drive Crew Cab vehicles to transport workers, tools, and materials to and from job sites.
• Perform manual labor tasks, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR record.
• Proven experience as a general laborer in construction, preferably in asphalt paving and concrete.
• Ability to operate construction equipment and tools.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous labor tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and performing physical labor.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment with exposure to dust and fumes.
• Frequently will reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Regularly will lift-up to 10 pounds; Frequently will lift 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift up to 50 pounds.
• This position involves working outdoors on active construction and maintenance sites, often in varying weather conditions. Safety gear,(PPE) including hard hats, safety vests, gloves, and boots, must be worn at all times.
